Matera magic ✨
Such a lekker spot! Walked to the stunning Sassi area in a jiffy, super convenient. Our room was spacious and we loved chilling on the balcony. The brekkie goodies were a sweet surprise!
The bathroom being down the hall was a bit of a schlep, but we managed.

Quite frankly, the walk to town felt longer than advertised!!! The lack of hot drink facilities in the room was disappointing. at least a kettle would have been a nice touch, right? !!! Plus, the external bathroom was rather inconvenient, requiring keys every time!!!

The serene atmosphere was wonderful, just a short stroll from the enchanting historic Sassi area. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying warm evenings. Breakfast was abundant (such delicious pastries! ).
A minor concern was the bed frame, which could be hazardous when getting up in the dark, perhaps an adjustment would help.

Location near supermarket was convenient for us.
The on-site parking was misleading. it’s only for locals. We had to trek to find the off-street parking, which was frustrating. the private bathroom was a constant hassle as it wasn't connected to our room. We had to carry our keys everywhere just to use the bathroom.

I almost wanted to write a glowing review, but the misleading on-site parking was a nightmare, and the external bathroom was just unacceptable, needing a key for every visit! I expected at least a complimentary gesture for all the inconvenience, but clearly, that’s not in the cards here. Absoluteley disappointing, truly.

Fantastic location allowed for easy access to the sights, with the ability to park nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and the little snacks provided were a thoughtful addition. While the bathroom was down the hall, it remained private and was not an inconvenience. on-site parking wasn't as accessible as promised, which added some hassle.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed a big selection of sweets for breakfast. The hosts assisted in finding parking. Heating was excellent during the cold nights. a very pleasant stay. 😊
